Chapter 857 You Killed My Child
Chapter 857 You Killed My Child
"Zhang Xue!"
Shen Qing's voice was hoarse, filled with accusations of blood and tears. Every word seemed to be squeezed out from between her teeth, filled with deep hatred.
Her body was shaking violently with extreme anger, her hands were clenched into fists, her nails were deeply embedded in her palms, and she was unaware of the blood seeping out.
His empty eyes were instantly filled with scarlet flames, and he stared at the woman in front of him, as if he wanted to eat her alive.
She wanted to rush up, tear apart that hypocritical smile, and ask her why she was so cruel and why she didn't even let an innocent child go!
The emotions surging in her chest almost tore her apart, and every breath was filled with pain like shards of glass.
The air around them seemed to freeze, leaving only Shen Qing's heavy and angry breathing, and the desperate rage in her eyes that almost burned everything.
"Zhang Xue, why do you treat me like this?"
"Shen Qing, I begged you so much, but you didn't agree. I hate you."
"I hate you even more. Not only did you hurt me, you also hurt the baby in my belly. He's a little life. How could you be so cruel?"
"Shen Qing, you deserve it. Even if I die, I will drag you down with me."
Shen Qing's hands were shaking slightly.
But at this moment, it was like a pair of pliers that condensed all the hatred and despair, and with the sound of wind breaking through the air, it hit Zhang Xue's face fiercely and firmly!
"Snapped--!"
The crisp and loud sound of a slap exploded in the silent house, shaking the air so much that it seemed to freeze.
Zhang Xue staggered from the blow, clutching her burning cheek in disbelief, her eyes wide open. She had probably never imagined that the usually gentle Shen Qing would hit someone, and in such a brutal way.
After Shen Qing slapped the opponent, she staggered because of excessive force and physical weakness and almost fell down.
She held onto the edge of the bed, her chest heaving violently, and every breath she took was accompanied by heart-wrenching pain.
She stared at Zhang Xue intently, her cracked lips trembling, her voice hoarse like an old bellows, but every word was tearful:
"It's you...it's you who killed my child..."
Her eyes were devoid of their former gentleness, only filled with devastating hatred and endless sadness. Those eyes were like a knife, piercing Zhang Xue's heart and causing her to shudder uncontrollably.
That slap not only hit Zhang Xue's face, but also seemed like Shen Qing's most desperate and poignant accusation with her broken heart against the woman who had destroyed everything for her.
Shen Qing looked at Zhang Xue in front of her viciously.
The body trembles uncontrollably.
Yan Bei hugged Shen Qing.
"Honey, let's go!"
Shen Qing nodded without saying anything.
Zhang Xue was also a little confused at this time, but there was nothing she could do. She hadn't eaten for several days and had no strength left.
So she slumped to the ground, her eyes not filled with regret.
Yan Bei and Shen Qing walked out.
After walking to the front of the car with difficulty, Yan Bei called Yang Jian.
"Come to Zhang Xue. I don't want to see her again."
"Ok."
After hanging up the phone.
Yan Bei looked at Shen Qing.
"Honey, get in the car!"
He helped Shen Qing open the car door and Shen Qing got in the car.
She looked out the window with empty eyes, and it was obvious that she was in a very bad mood.
Yan Bei got in the car.
Drive the car out.
At this moment, the sky was gray and gloomy, just like Shen Qing's mood at the moment, heavy and suffocating.
The shadow of the car accident was like a maggot attached to her bones, gnawing at her heart day and night, and the child who had not yet had the chance to open his eyes to see the world was an unhealable wound in her heart.
Although she had just beaten Zhang Xue, she still felt unsatisfied.
Yan Bei turned to look at Shen Qing, "Wife, I'll take you out to relax."
Shen Qing didn't answer. But Yan Bei was determined to help Shen Qing relax.
After a while.
Yan Bei drove, not to any of the noisy places, nor to the parent-child park they had planned to take their baby to. He drove out of the bustling city and headed for the suburbs.
The car finally stopped at a vast lake. It was late autumn, and the trees along the lakeside were stained in varying shades of gold and red, reflected in the clear water like a vibrant oil painting.
The air is fresh, with the scent of grass, trees and earth, far away from the hustle and bustle and depression of the city.
Yan Bei got out of the car first, then walked around to the passenger seat and opened the door for Shen Qing. He held out his hand, and Shen Qing hesitated for a moment before placing her cold hand into his broad, warm palm.
He held her hand and walked slowly along the wooden plank road by the lake. Occasionally, the wooden planks creaked softly under their feet, and in the distance, a few water birds leisurely flew across the lake, stirring up circles of ripples.
No one spoke, they just walked quietly. Yan Bei didn't deliberately try to find a topic to talk about, but just used his actions to tell her that he was here, with her.
After walking for a while, Shen Qing's pace gradually slowed down. She looked at the tranquil lake before her, its shimmering surface, and the vast, lofty sky in the distance. After an unknown amount of time, her tense shoulders seemed to relax slightly.
An autumn breeze blew by, picking up a few fallen leaves and ruffling Shen Qing's hair. Yan Bei paused, raised his hand, and gently tucked her hair behind her ear. His fingertips touched the slightly cool shell of her ear, and Shen Qing flinched slightly, but did not shy away.
"It's... beautiful here." She finally spoke, her voice hoarse and dry, but it was like a crack in the frozen lake.
Yan Bei's heart moved slightly, and a subtle joy flashed in his eyes. He followed her gaze towards the lake, and said in a low and magnetic voice, "Well, when we feel down in the future, we can come here often."
Shen Qing didn't answer, but cast her gaze toward the distant spot where the water met the sky. Tears finally flowed silently at this moment, running down her cheeks and dripping onto the backs of their clasped hands, warm and tender.
Yan Bei felt the wetness and his heart tightened. He stopped, turned around, gently embraced her in his arms, and held her tightly.
"Cry it out, Qingqing," his voice was choked with sobs, "it will make you feel better if you cry."
The sadness that had been suppressed for so long seemed to find an outlet at this moment. Shen Qing could no longer hold it in and buried her face in Yan Bei's chest. The suppressed sobs finally broke through her throat and gradually turned into uncontrollable sobs. She seemed to want to cry out all the pain, self-blame and despair she had felt in the past few days.
Yan Bei held her tightly, letting her tears soak his expensive shirt. He held her back with one hand and gently stroked her hair with the other, his movements clumsy but full of pity.
He said nothing, but used his arms to give her the most solid support.
