Chapter 371 The Second Daughter in the Historical Fiction 66
During evening self-study, the homeroom teacher called Song Xianyin to the office.
Class teacher: "Song Xianyin, tell me if Li Jun bullied you?"
The homeroom teacher looked somewhat worried.
Song Xianyin nodded: "Teacher, he always laughs at me from behind when I'm answering questions. And today I was drawing quietly, and he kept saying that the people in the class hate me."
Actually, these aren't any big deal, but Song Xianyin just wanted to say them out loud.
She wasn't afraid of Li Jun saying she was badmouthing her behind her back. So what if she badmouthed him? She just liked to badmouth him.
Upon hearing these words, the homeroom teacher's face immediately darkened. She lowered her voice and said, "Okay, I understand. You can go back to the classroom now."
When Song Xianyin returned to the classroom, her steps were light and quick, and everyone in the class quieted down as soon as she entered.
"Song Xianyin, why did the teacher call you to the office?" a classmate next to her asked curiously.
"The teacher asked me if someone was bullying me, and I said yes."
Upon hearing this, Li Jun immediately exploded, screaming, "Song Xianyin, are you even a little kid? Always tattling to the teacher. You're such a coward! I knew you were like that. With you always tattling, who will dare to play with you in the future!"
Song Xianyin ignored him.
He ran up to Song Xianyin and slammed his fist on her table, yelling, "Are you deaf? Can't you hear me talking to you?"
Song Xianyin looked at him and laughed: "Who are you? Just because you talk to me doesn't mean I have to answer you."
Li Jun wanted to say something more, but the homeroom teacher suddenly appeared at the classroom door.
"Li Jun, what are you doing walking up to Song Xianyin during class? Have you finished your homework? Do you have so much time?" The homeroom teacher's voice was frighteningly cold.
Li Jun immediately deflated.
But he still looked at the homeroom teacher: "Teacher, what Song Xianyin said is all false. I didn't bully her."
All eyes in the class were on the three people.
Li Jun became increasingly angry as he spoke, muttering, "We were just joking, did you really have to tell the homeroom teacher? You scoundrel."
The homeroom teacher's voice rose: "Li Jun, I told you to go back to your seat, did you hear me?"
Li Jun's lips moved, and he returned to his seat with a look of resentment on his face.
The homeroom teacher stayed in the classroom for a while, and when she left, Li Jun started smashing things on his seat again, either books or chairs.
The timid student next to him shrank to one side in fear.
Li Jun: "Disgusting, disgusting. Absolutely disgusting."
I don't know who he was cursing, but he was smashing things and cursing all sorts of swear words.
The atmosphere in the classroom was extremely tense.
The class monitor and the discipline committee member exchanged a glance.
The discipline committee member cleared his throat and said, "Li Jun, what are you doing? If you're not going to study, then get out. Everyone else is studying, and you're the only one disturbing them."
Li Jun: "So what if I bothered you? Does smashing my own books bother you? If you're so easy to bother, then you shouldn't be coming to school."
The disciplinary committee member was startled by his appearance and lowered his head, not daring to speak.
Li Jun stood in his seat and looked around. He was panting heavily and stared fiercely in one direction.
Li Jun: "I knew you didn't like me. If you don't like me, let's go outside and fight one-on-one! What kind of skill is it to tell the teacher? Only a loser would tell the teacher about these little conflicts. If you're a decent person, let's go to the playground and have a fight right now."
The boy in the corner leaned against the wall and said lazily, "Li Jun, what are you doing so late at night? Didn't you say Song Xianyin was pretty before? Why are you treating her like this now?"
The people around burst into laughter.
Li Jun scoffed, "She's pretty? Our dog is prettier than her."
He stared at Song Xianyin's back as he spoke, trying to discern her emotions from her silhouette.
But Song Xianyin didn't speak or turn to look at him; she just lay on her seat drawing.
Li Jun: "Why are you afraid to speak? Do you think you can just pretend you didn't hear it and let this go?"
"Alright, alright, this isn't a big deal. Please don't make things difficult for that little girl," the boy said again.
"Anyone who didn't know better would think you two had some kind of relationship. You two have barely spoken a few words, and people find you really annoying."
Evening self-study is a time for some students who don't really want to study to sleep. But with Li Jun messing around like this, they can't sleep, they don't want to read, and they just listen to him going crazy.
"This is between her and me, what's it to you?" Li Jun looked at the boy. "What do you mean? You're usually so quiet, why are you trying to be a hero now?"
Zheng Hao looked at Li Jun with disdain in his eyes.
I heard that Li Jun's family is just average, and the things he wears are all outdated.
And with such a bad temper, anyone who didn't know better would think he was one of the village's idiots.
Zheng Hao: "Li Jun, are you ever going to stop?"
Zheng Hao could no longer tolerate it.
Who gave Li Jun the audacity? He's not good-looking, his grades are bad, and his family isn't well-off. Why does he make such a scene in class? Why does he have such a strong presence in the class?
Before Zheng Hao could finish speaking, Li Jun threw a book at her. Although he missed, Zheng Hao was still startled.
"Are you sick in the head?" Zheng Hao screamed.
Seeing Li Jun's relentless pursuit without a response, Song Xianyin looked at him.
Song Xianyin: "I'm not going with you now. We'll go to the playground behind the school after school. Didn't you want to fight me? Then let's fight and see who's stronger."
Those around Song Xianyin stared in shock.
"Song Xianyin, are you crazy? Don't be so impulsive."
"Tell the teacher first. He won't do anything to you. Don't be afraid of him."
"No matter what, he's still a man. Are you really going to fight him?"
People around were gossiping, and a few even wanted to secretly tell the teacher.
Li Jun glared at them: "If I find out that any of you have told the teacher, you'll have to bear the consequences yourselves."
The students in the class looked at each other, not daring to say anything.
After all, no one dares to mess with a madman.
In the ten minutes or so before the end of evening self-study, the classroom was so quiet that you could hear a pen fall to the ground.
Even after school, everyone lingered. Usually, everyone would have already gone back to the dormitory by this time, but many people remained in the classroom.
Li Jun: "What if you dare to stay here again?"
Li Jun glanced at them sideways.
Song Xianyin stood at the classroom door with her schoolbag on her back. She glanced at Li Jun and said, "Come on, what are you still standing there for?"
Li Jun paused for a moment, then frowned: "You really want to go to the grove?"
Song Xianyin: "Enough with the nonsense, if you're not going, then forget it."
She turned and left.
Li Jun quickly followed, "Hey, wait for me! Are you going to fight all by yourself?"
His tone carried a hint of amusement, as if he had never actually challenged Song Xianyin to a fight.
