Chapter 200 The Little Green Guy

Chapter 200 The Little Green Guy

"Ah!" A scream rang out as Jading was propelled into the air like a cannonball.

Then, with a dull thud, he crashed heavily onto the hard ground, raising a cloud of dust that evoked pity in onlookers.

"Wow, that was a really bad fall." El, who was standing outside the railing, witnessed the scene but did not show any concern or sympathy. Instead, he shouted loudly without a care in the world.

At that moment, the ferocious Brugg beast was slowly approaching Jadin, who was lying on the ground, with heavy steps.

Upon seeing this, Jia Ding felt a pang of anxiety. Ignoring the waves of pain emanating from his body, he quickly scrambled to his feet.

He knew all too well the power of the beast's gaping maw; if he were bitten, he would likely suffer greatly.

So he lowered his head, crouched low, and carefully moved around the Brugmon, trying to find a suitable opportunity to attack.

Finally, taking advantage of the moment when the Blergoth was slightly distracted, Jadin suddenly exerted his strength and steadily mounted the Blergoth's broad back.

However, before he could even rejoice, the Blergo beast seemed to sense the foreign object on its back and began to twist its body wildly.

Unsurprisingly, just a few seconds later, poor Jadin was once again violently thrown out, streaking across the sky like a shooting star, before crashing heavily to the ground once more.

Watching the series of defeats, Quill, who was watching from the sidelines, shook his head helplessly, reached up to touch his forehead, and sighed deeply.

Unable to bear the frustration any longer, Jadin struggled to his feet and walked straight toward Quill.

As he approached, he roared in exasperation, "I don't have that much time to waste arguing with this beast! Can you rent me the hoverbike for a bit?"

Faced with Jadin's almost roaring question, Quill was not angry. Instead, he smiled slightly and replied with a hint of sarcasm, "You are a Mandalorian! In the past, your ancestors rode great mystic dragons into battle. How come you can't even tame such a small Brugg?"

Hearing Quill's words, El couldn't help but lean over and whisper to Tina beside him, "I think the old man didn't really want to tame this beast at all; he was just going through the motions."

Tina nodded slightly after hearing this, indicating her agreement with El's opinion: "Yes, Uncle Jadin probably just sees it as an ordinary means of transportation, which is why he couldn't tame it so quickly."

Jadin pointed at two little guys who were making sarcastic remarks, then turned to face the Brugmon.

As expected, Jadin, no longer impatient, quickly tamed the Brugg and rode it around in circles inside the enclosure.

Quill nodded and went to put a larger saddle on Jadin.

Two Brugs raced across the shattered earth, leaping over cracks, carrying the four of them toward the camp.

"That's it." The four of them stopped on a cliff. Jadin's target was this camp.

Tina dismounted, raised her Tek sniper rifle, and saw dozens of infrared targets through the scope.

“There are a lot of people, and we should take them all out.” Tina adjusted her scope, searching for potential targets. “It seems someone is coming.”

Jadin, using his monocular telescope, saw a robot striding towards the camp.

"It's IG! That damned robot!" Jadin couldn't sit still any longer. That swaggering IG robot would definitely attract the enemy's attention, making a surprise attack impossible.

"Don't rush, uncle, there are three of us." Al pulled Jadin back from rushing down.

The IG robot swaggered into the camp, its metal shell gleaming coldly in the sunlight.

However, this seemingly easy situation did not last long.

The number of enemies in the camp far exceeded expectations; they surged in like a tide, surrounding the IG robot.

In an instant, shouts of killing, gunshots, and the roar of various energy weapons mingled together, creating a symphony of death.

Despite its powerful firepower and advanced combat system, the IG robot gradually found itself overwhelmed by the sheer number and ferocity of its enemies.

Just then, a dazzling beam of light streaked across the sky like lightning, striking the IG robot precisely in its most vulnerable spot—its head. In an instant, sparks flew and metal fragments scattered everywhere.

The beam of light mercilessly burned away the IG robot's neural bundles, rendering it immobile, and it finally collapsed to the ground.

Just as the IG robot fell, another tragedy occurred on the chaotic battlefield.

Before one unfortunate fellow could react, he was struck by a ball of scorching plasma. A scream rang out, and his head vanished into thin air, leaving only a headless corpse slowly collapsing.

After Tina fired her gun, Jadin and El rushed out from both sides, using their blaster pistols and Tek guns in lethal mode to take down the enemies one after another.

Tina's sniping didn't stop either; anyone hiding behind cover would have half their body taken away by the plasma blast.

The camp was quickly cleared by the three men. Jadin took out a tracker and followed the signal to the warehouse.

“There are two life signs inside, one large and one small, one on the left and one on the right.” Tina looked at a figure with a gun. “The one on the right just ran in.”

Jading held the locator and assessed the signal strength: "Take out the one on the right."

A gunshot rang out, and only one life signal remained in the warehouse.

El lit up his psionic blade and drew a new door on the warehouse's steel gate.

Guided by the locator, the three found a hovering baby carriage, from which a small green object emerged.

“Wait a minute, they told me it’s a 50-year-old creature.” Jadin looked at the small, green alien and began to doubt the locator.

“Some creatures grow slowly or are just small by nature. If it’s wrong, it’s a problem with the locator.” El took a picture of the little guy and sent it to Kilsager.

"Alright then." Jadin took out the stroller and looked at the adorable little green baby.

The Brugmon carried the three of them toward Jadin's spaceship, while the little green creature stayed in the hovercar.

"Someone's there!" El's psychic abilities allowed him to sense the presence of aliens near the spaceship from a great distance.

As soon as the warning reached Jadin's ears, he did not hesitate and immediately ordered the Brug to advance at full speed.

An ominous premonition instantly welled up in his heart, causing him to frown deeply.

"These damned bastards!" As he drew closer, Jadin finally saw what was before him—his Blade Peak had been torn to pieces and was now a mangled mess by those despicable Jakku people.

Enrage burned fiercely in his chest, and without hesitation, he raised his weapon, aimed at one of the Jakkus, and pulled the trigger.

A sharp gunshot rang out, and the unfortunate Jakku man fell to the ground.

The other Jaku people, seeing this, were terrified and, like startled birds, quickly turned and ran towards their mobile fortress.

In the blink of an eye, they rushed into the fortress and quickly closed the hatches.

However, just when these Jaku people thought they had escaped safely, an unexpected event occurred.

The Jaku people, who were fleeing frantically, suddenly felt the surrounding light dimming, as if some huge object was blocking the sunlight.

The Jakku people on the top floor of the mobile fortress looked up in astonishment, only to see a huge spaceship that had appeared above them at some unknown time.

This spaceship was the Wanderer, which Al and Jadin were traveling on, and at this moment it had deactivated its cloaking module, completely exposing itself to everyone.

"Quaa?"
